Camping - Lake Isabella
There were four of us in total, but all my shots w/ people are on film cams and won't be processed/posted for a week or so. Here's a few photos from the iPhone and my trusty point and shoot.

**Update** - last week's camping post.
I can't remember the last time I laughed as hard as I did last weekend. Everyone should go camping. Get a group of friends together and just do it.
The picture below is the one and only picture I took over the weekend. I arrived at the Mecca Beach camp grounds at Salton Sea in Indio, CA a little before everyone had gotten back from Coachella and I wasn't quite which camp site was ours. I drove around in the dark for a bit - got nice and lost until I came across the spectacle below. The handy work of my friends is unmistakable. I had finally found it!
The flash on my Cybershot fails to capture the degree of the anti-Captain-Planet-semitism of our camp site in the picture below. But before I got a chance to dwell on how much it sucked to have gotten lost in the desert at night - the gang had arrived - we fixed up camp - and the rest was history. Roflcopters, LMAObombs and lollernukes a plenty! It was great seeing you kidz. Can't wait for the next one.

This may be my last post this weekend as some friends of mine have come down from Seattle for the 3 day Coachella festival/concert, which started today. And with that, I'm off to Indio, CA to party...err, I mean go camping. Here's a few pictures from the Coachella website. Hope it's as nice as it looks here. Probably not. But either way it should be good to get away for a bit and I've always had good quality wholesome fun at Warped Tour so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the Coachella scene is like.
I've never been camping outside of Washington. I'd love to hear any suggestions you might have for some good places to camp in California. I'm more than willing to make the drive for the spot that's just right.
