Fun Web Apps for Editing Pictures

My sister asked if I'd like to take up the slide show project for her wedding and naturally I said yes! So lately I've been looking out for cool web applications for editing or altering pictures, hoping to do something a little more fun with the project beyond the usual whiteout transitions and traditional cross-dissolves over music that we've come to expect from wedding slide shows. Here are three sites that rock.
Fotowoosh is a new service that will turn any image into a 3D model. I stumbled across this one as I was reading TechCrunch. When you upload an image to Fotowoosh, their software tears it apart and distinguishes the sky, ground and vertical elements within the photo, then cuts and folds it into a 3D model. Check out the before and after examples above and below.

Perception Laboratory's Face Transformer will tweak the age, race or sex of a facial image for some pretty funny results. This tool will also transform pictures to the style of a famous artist, to make an exagerated caricature or even take you back thousands of years and ape your face! I have yet to try this one myself but my sister's results were hilarious! Although she's the one that introduced me and her results are fair game, I'll spare her and post my own results later this week ;)

Last on my list is ToonDoo. This site enables its users to create personalized comic strips. The interface is slick and really easy to use. It's worth visiting just to see their cropping tool in action and how simple they make it to add props, resize and relocate images within the workspace. Here's one that I did on April 6th when I first heard about the service. It took me a total of 4 minutes to throw this one together. It's not pretty but then again I never intended for this to be posted here and was really just testing the service at the time.

If you know any other fun sites for editing pictures I'd be anxious to try them out. Enjoy!
