Most of us don’t travel outside our version of Los Angeles too often and I’ve come to realize that most Angelenos (myself included) are oblivious to the fact that many Californians are being evacuated from the Castaic area down to San Diego.
The reality of the 6 wildfires that are currently raging throughout California hit me at the post office as I was trying to mail a pair of shoes I sold on ebay to the Chula Vista area. That same day I found out that a fellow co-worker and good friend had to evacuate his house due to the fires...
As a fixie enthusiast and skater since the 5th grade I'm the last person to hope for such things, but we could sure use some rain.
